Designed by the award winning architectural firm of Beeler Guest Owens, Mercer Square resides in the heart of the Uptown district of Dallas. The four story condominium building features one and two story homes with portions built on slabs on grade and other units built on a podium foundation over a parking garage. Brick, cast stone, and stucco adorn the exterior while interiors include finished concrete, hardwood floors, ceramic tile and granite countertops.
The 85 units in this development are placed on a nine sided 1.56 acre piece of property. The result is an eight, unequal sided, exterior to the face to the building. One face in particular is curvilinear along two property lines. The project is accessible only from a one way single lane street, is built over a large storm duct, and sits closely facing the very busy McKinney Avenue. Overcoming the unusual layout, site restrictions, and accessibility, all the while sharing the access with early buyers proved the value of the KWA team.
Mercer Square was developed by Post Preferred Homes, one of the largest developers and operators of upscale multi-family communities in the US. Since the completion of Mercer Square, KWA Construction has begun preconstruction services for this client on a new project.
