Stone Creek Apartment Homes

The Stone Creek Apartment Homes is comprised of eight two story apartment buildings with a new club, maintenance facility, pool area, and volleyball court. This was a competitively bid project which was awarded based on the original pricing 6 months after the pricing was submitted. With mutual cooperation from all parties, the project was completed within the schedule and budget defined at the start of the project.
These 128 units sit on 8 acres, and were built as a second phase to an existing property. The access to build the property was limited to one access point which was built as part of the project. The second phase buildings were placed directly adjacent to the first phase buildings without parking lot or other transitions while maintaining a safe separation between the construction activities and the tenants.
As this was a second phase, emphasis was placed on improving the common amenities for the significant number of soldiers and their families normally living on the project. The low density resulted in large open areas for yard play and opportunity for other such amenities. The pool was intentionally enlarged to create lap lanes and provide for water games. A volleyball court was added. The clubhouse has a significant exercise area and club room with limited office area.
