The Belleview Apartments Announced as Finalists for NAHB’s 2015 Pillars of the Industry Award, Best Affordable Apartment Community

The Belleview Apartments, a 164-unit mixed-use development in Dallas’ South Side neighborhood, has been announced as a finalist in National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) 2015 Pillars of the Industry Award for Best Affordable Apartment Community.

KWA Construction, along with developer Matthews Southwest and BGO Architects, completed the apartments in the fall of 2014. The project now serves residents living and working in and around downtown Dallas.

The NAHB awards program highlights creative development concepts, innovative financing strategies, great design and superior management and marketing in the apartment and condo marketplace. The annual competition is judged by a jury of experienced peers, each having a proven record of success in various facets of the apartment and condo industry.

“It’s a top honor to have worked on a project that’s recognized by knowledgeable colleagues in a well-known building industry association,” said Brian Webster, Vice President at KWA Construction.

Located at 1414 Belleview, the apartments provide quality living at a low cost for residents who whose incomes stand at 30 percent, 50 percent and 60 percent of the area’s median family income. The development features a fitness and business center, covered gazebo seating area and a furnished community room with a kitchen and entertainment center.

The winner for NAHB’s Best Affordable Apartment Community will be announced later this month.
